This is my problem with the tech bond request.
We've had personal computers around since, what, the early 80s?
Why wasn't this district more proactive in setting a line-item budget for "technology needs"? It would seem to me that a small portion of the taxes we already pay could go for upgrades every year, softening or eliminating the "emergency situation" we appear to be in now.
Or is the taxpayer considered the "big daddy" who will always step in and make things right?
We need responsible and intelligent leadership.
"big daddy" may just want to go on a cruise, instead. ;-)
