Meridian Southwest Alliance is a non-profit Michigan organization of Meridian Township resident taxpayers dedicated to the preservation and orderly development of Southwest Meridian Township. Our group vigorously opposed the haphazard development in this area, specifically the wasteful giveaway by OPS of the Hulett Playfields. The test of time has shown that this boondoggle by the OPS Board has yielded no meaningful fruit for the District in terms of either dollars or enrollment. OPS wastes more money in a calendar quarter that it got for the land in the sweetheart developer deal it inflicted on the taxpayers and has forever lost a wonderful recreational asset for children, families, and our community.
Say no to another fleecing of the public on the "techno-bond," thus allowing families to keep more hard earned dollars with which to make their finanacial decisions.
