Man, am I sick of these clowns at OPS taking more and more of my money! My assesment went up 6% while the cost of living was only up 2%. The way I see it, they got their raise! I know it's not quite that simple but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Anyway, thanks for the website. I want to make a yard sign that says:
"Vote NO on May 8th, CommonSenseForOkemos.org"
Okay? I"m also going to make a thousand or so flyers to pass out to my fellow overtaxedpayers and I'd like to include your link. Okay?

PetePete,Feel free to make a yard sign including this site name. As far as I know, nobody has done this. We could use all the free advertising we can get. This is a true grass roots effort, not a well funded machine as is the Okemos Citizens Millage Committee. If anyone out there would like to lend their talents to make up some yard signs, I'm sure there would be taxpayers who wouldn't mind displaying one. The more people that know about this election, the more likely it is that the bond will be defeated. Site Administrator
