It is more than disturbing to see that Okemos Education Foundation and the OPS is apparently now being led by people who think they can strong-arm and intimidate parents. Our income is the last vestige of power we have and people can turn away from "giving" in the blink of an eye.
Especially with these tactics. Piss off enough people and you can kiss your fund-raising goodbye.
It looks like the women in this community who love to throw around their supposed power based on their husbands' incomes, are becoming a liability for the district. Snobs are seen for what they are. Thank Goodness the majority of Okemos has their eyes wide open.
Just remember, if the "unwashed masses" aren't happy...neither will the district be, come election time.
