Yes, Ms. Kochan, you are right on! I hope you read this Valerie, because I too, want to thank you for running for school board.
We need people to try, but I know it comes with a lot of personal cost, both financially and emotionally. You are a marvelous woman. I am proud to know you and wish you could have used your many talents to help our community.
Maybe you'll run again, maybe not, but you gave it the old college try, and many good people voted for you so you can take comfort in that.
Despite the flaws, we live in the greatest country and have so much to be thankful for. Really, it is the home that does shape the child.
